I was part of the design team in charge of creating visuals for the interfaces of different futuristic props devices including:

◌ Ship main cabin monitors and keypads,

◌ Portable command control devices,

◌ Medical officer diagnosis device,

◌ Door opener keypads

Early Iterations

The design brief included lenguaje redesign with a combination of tech / futuristic / scientific looking shapes and color pallet.

Key Takeaways

Not only did we got to think about the future of intergalactic devices but also learn and collaborate with screenwriters, costume designers, prop creators, producers, etc. to create opportunities for the actors & breath life into the narrative.

Visuals inspired & guided by a mix of functional and aesthetic premises:

- Dark mode: energy efficiency,

- Voice commands & the decline on button interactions,

- Multipurpose devices: communication, control & protection.
